Women in Ministry - November 2004 Issue

How do you define stress? The Idiot’s Guide to Dealing With Stress states that stress is “what you experience when you feel you cannot cope effectively with a threatened situation.” Stress is the “wear and tear” our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment. It has physical and emotional effects. In recent days it has been reported that stress even disrupts our rational decision-making and short-term memory. For those in ministry, the stress can be even greater.

The current focus is intended to assist you with effectively dealing with the stressors in your life so that you can continue in your God-given ministry.
